"And the photographs have a reality for me that the people don't. It's through the photographs that I know them. Maybe it's in the nature of being a photographer." - Richard Avedon
Don't you love it when elegant baroque elements are combined with nature? I do! And I was delighted to discover that my friend - Ana Zinn - who is applying to study photography to the most amazing universities in the US, from Parsons to Rhode Island School of Design, asked me to make some test shoots for her portfolio.
The amazing clothes only made it better, a beautifully intricate lace Zara dress and a Blair Waldorf-esque cape and hat for the first look, followed by a beautiful silk blouse with lace details and a flowing maxi skirt. And the locations - the Costa del Sol beach, and some woods.

As Annie Leibovitz once said, "a very subtle difference can make a picture or not."
Do you agree? Is the most important element of a photograph the model or the photographer behind the lens? I think it's the fusion of both which creates the balance in photographs.
Love,
Victoria.
