Valentine's Day is approaching in a mere two weeks. For those of you who are married or in a relationship with someone special it means an amazing day filled with romantic gestures, flowers and chocolate. Now...I know what some of you are thinking. "But I'm single, it's going to be a horrible day. I'm going to lock myself in and gain, like, 5 kilograms with all the chocolate I'm going to fill my stomach with."
Well, no.
Even if you are a single lady, it doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy it - go out for dinner with the girls, send each other some chocolates or have a best friend movie night with Breakfast at Tiffany's, silk pyjamas and macaroons, there's always a way to have a great time! Researching items for this 'gift guide' was way more fun for me that it should have been (seeing as the only possible person who could buy them for me is myself), so enjoy it - send it to your boyfriend, best friend, or if you like it, then put a ring on it and get yourself a little gift to show yourself some love. And always remember: you have to learn to love yourself first before you can learn to love someone else.
Now clicky-click through to find out more about my selection!
A simple statement that life is about to be lived without regrets and in full, in a beautifully understated poster that can be hung above your bed to give a great start to the day.

A girls must-have in her bag - lip balm. And this one comes in an adorable macaroon-shaped box!
Wonderful artisanal chocolate with sophisticated flavours and beautiful packaging.

Need I say more? Originally conceived to symbolise eternal love, Cartier's singularly iconic love bracelet is the perfect homage to the 'amour pendant longtemps' shared between you and that special someone.
In a sumptuous combination of silk and lace, Stella McCartney's blush chemise makes a perfect underpinning with a vintage edge.
Peonies are my favourite flower; they give a wonderful lush addition to any room and make for the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
These sublime world-renowned pink chocolate truffles with a milk chocolate, butter and Marc de Champagne centre are every girl's guilty pleasure.
I apologise for the second perfume in this gift guide, but Creed holds a special place in my heart. I received this perfume for my 15th birthday last year and I can't get enough of it - it's the exuberance of new romance and a celebration of femininity in an 250ml flacoon. With peach, jasmine, rose and musk scents it really is the perfume you can wear anywhere. Not to mention it was Audrey Hepburn's signature scent!
Stay tuned tomorrow for an exciting Valentine's Day giveaway!
Bisous bisous,
Victoria.
